Usually when we set goals or start to brainstorm we come up with our "what", the thing or the goal we want to accomplish, the end product.
But immediately after doing this we complicate shit. We go straight to "how". WHAT then HOW, skipping everything in between. When you go from what to how you will set yourself up for failure. The "how" will become to big or complicated. You either won't start or you will give up before you can get to your "what".
I'll have you consider that if you follow my process below you will be more successful.

Notice that we went from WHAT => WHY => WHEN => HOW!
Identifying your why and when helps you set a realistic expectation on what you want. This also helps you attach feelings to it and time constraint. So when things get hard, inconvenient, and you feel like giving up you can go back to your WHY and WHEN to help you push through any obstacle.
